 "Almost To Die For" by Tate Hallaway |
Anastasija Parker just turned sixteen. You would think turning sixteen would be awesome, but not for Anastasija. She is a witch who is about to be sworn into becoming a true witch of her coven. First she has to pass her test by performing a simple magic spell, except she can't do magic. If that is the least of her worries, some strange man appears on her door step saying that he is her father, and that she is a vampire princess. Poor Anastasija, she now has to deal with being half vampire and half witch. She will forever be labeled as a half breed called a “dhampyr”. Well at least one good thing can come of all this, she has two gorgeous men fighting for her love.
Outstanding is what Tate Hallaway's “Almost To Die For” is. This book was amazing right from page one, you are immediately drawn into the life of Anastaija Parker. Teens and Adults alike will love this book. I can't wait to read book two of this awesome series. Awesome job Tate, this book ROCKED! |

"Blood of a Werewolf" by T. Lynne Tolles |
Darby and Rowan O'Rielly are sister witches from a long line of ancestral witches. They both are very powerful, but do not yet know how to wield their powers. Soon they will learn when Rowan is kidnapped and injected with werewolf serum. Darby must do everything in her power to rescue her sister from harms way. Lucky for Darby and Rowan that both of their very gorgeous boyfriends are very powerful vampires, and are both are aiding Darby in catching Rowan's kidnappers. Will they be able to save Rowan before she turns into a werewolf from the injected with werewolf serum, or will they be too late to save her from possible death?
Vampire and Witch unite together in this action packed book full of twists and turns that will have your heart beating non stop with excitement. This book had me smiling all the way through it. Wonderfully written, and the romance and excitement is blended perfectly in this great book. |

 "Laney" by Joann Sowles |
Laney Alexandra is your typical collage student. She has a roommate, close friends and an old beater for a car. On her first day of school her room mate happens to notice a cute guy checking her out. They both think nothing of it until he starts showing up in their classes, and starts making eye contact with Laney. Laney has no idea that the gorgeous hunk who keeps checking her out just happens to be a vampire named Oliver Knight.
Laney and Oliver are about to make magic happen between each other. Hopefully they will be able to be together forever. That is if Oliver's nut job vampire brother can be held at bay. He is determined to kill Oliver's soul mate Laney as retaliation for taking his soul mate away from him. Will everything work out for Laney and Oliver, or will it cost so much more?
I really enjoyed this novel, and loved reading about Laney's and Oliver's hot romantic relationship. This is a book, that will have you hooked right from the beginning. Also this book is full non-stop excitement that will have your heart racing. I can't wait to read the sequel to this book. "Cat The Vamp" by Christina Martine |
Cathrine Taylor knew she was different from a young age. On Cathrine's 18th birthday her parents take her on a surprise trip. This trip will take Cathrine on a whirl wind journey into the world of becoming a vampire. Along the way, Cathrine will meet the love of her life and make life long friends. Cathrine will have to learn how to deal with her new found knowledge (that she is a vampire) and how to control her blood lust.
This book reminded me a lot of Harry Potter. I really enjoyed how Christina Martine wrote about Cathrine's journey to becoming a vampire. I also love how she included a Witch into the novel and talked about crystals and mediation. I recommend this book to all the readers who have sons and daughters. Great job Christina, I hope you write a sequel to this novel. |
